Raj Chhoker

Founding Partner/President & Mentor

Raj’s day-to-day focus is creating the vision of growth for Banmore Group, his ultimate goal/dream is for Banmore Group to be a Nationally recognized company. He has a passion for growing his team from within with regular mentorship and coaching. He believes in creating positions for his people and letting them get creative in what they can do or bring to the company.

Raj started his career as a retail manager for Bi-Way, and then jumped between management positions between multiple companies. He was always looking for a challenge and a way to grow both professionally and personally. With all his management experience he started Banmore group with his first Subway location in 2002.

Raj has been recognized as a top franchisee and operator over the last 20 years, winning multiple awards and receiving a nomination for Banmore Group from the International Airport Authority for having the Best Customer Service in the industry.

Angie Chhoker

Founding Partner & Vice President

Angie oversees the day-to-day operations of the company, ensuring that all departments are functioning efficiently and effectively. She works closely with our CEO, COO and DOO to identify and resolve any issues that may arise.

Angie was a flight attendant with Air Canada when her husband Raj came up with the goal of owning their own business. She put her everything into seeing this business grow with him and truly believed in the dream. She continued to work as a flight attendant and worked in the stores, proof that hard work pays off.

Angie has a resilience and hard work ethic as no one has seen, and she pushes the team to work just as hard. She believes in leading by example, she has always worked alongside the team in the stores on the front line. On the busiest days she would be there first doing what needed to be done, and she is a firm believer in the saying “Work Hard Play Hard.”

Mickey Patel

Chief Executive Officer

Mickey sets the strategic direction of the company and oversees the day-to-day operations with our Vice President and COO to ensure that the organization achieves its goals. Mickey provides leadership and direction to the organization’s management team and employees.

Mickey started with Banmore Group in 2006 as a sandwich artist. Seeing the ambition, potential and hard work in her, she quickly rose through the ranks in the company to her current position as CEO.

Mickey is a force to be reckoned with, always known to say it as it is. She is another firm believer in hard work and won’t allow the team to perform at level lower than their potential. She is the push behind the team to keep them going to reach another level.

Josie Chhoker

Chief Financial Officer

Josie plays a critical role in the organization’s success by providing strategic financial guidance and is also responsible for identifying new business opportunities and developing strategies to help the company grow, this includes looking for brand new opportunities and looking for merger & acquisitions. 

Josie recently rejoined Banmore Group in the CFO role. She started as a sandwich artist at Banmore Groups first location, moving up in the company to area manager for Subway. She left momentarily to pursue her own ambitions and rejoined with a new focus and more knowledge.

Josie brings a different perspective to the team, forcing them to think in unique ways and challenging the set-in ways.

Raman Gill

Chief Operating Officer

Raman works closely with other members of the executive team, to ensure that the company is running efficiently and effectively. She is responsible for overseeing the company’s operations and she also works closely with store managers and supervisors to ensure that operations are running smoothly Raman is also closely involved in all the hiring of staff for the restaurants.

Raman started with Banmore Group in 2015, working the overnight shifts at one of the Subway locations at Pearson Airport. Showing her dedication to the company and bringing a youthful energy Raman quickly rose through the ranks to her current position.

Raman is a quick learner, dedicated and passionate for her work. She brings that all to the team, she strives to fire up her managers and supervisors lighting up their passion. You’ll always find a smile on her face.

Sahil Gosalia

Business Development Manager

Sahil is responsible for identifying new business opportunities and developing relationships with potential clients or partners. He is also responsible for conducting market research to identify new opportunities. In conjunction to this, Sahil works with the operations team identifying areas for improvement by analyzing the sales data and implementing new strategies.

Sahil joined Banmore Group in 2019, as a sandwich artist. Showing youthful energy and a strong ambitious side Sahil was promoted to his current position quickly.

Sahil has an energy and passion to help Banmore Group grow. He is constantly utilizing his energy to look for new growth opportunities.

Roop Chhoker

Executive Assistant

Roop is responsible for managing the executive’s schedule, coordinating meetings and events, and ensuring that the executive’s day-to-day operations run smoothly. He is also responsible for building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, vendors, and employees.

Roop is a recent graduate from the University of Guelph and has recently joined Banmore Group. His goal is to learn everything about the company from the ground up. He represents the company in a professional and positive manner and ensures that relationships are nurtured and maintained over time.

Roop makes friends where-ever he goes. The team loves to see him and he greets everyone with his jovial young energy. As Kwahi Leonard would say, he’s a “Fun Guy.”

Yazdeep Narwal

Facilities Manager

Yazdeep is responsible for managing the maintenance and upkeep of the facilities, infrastructure, and equipment of the company. He is responsible for ensuring that all facilities and equipment are maintained, repaired, and serviced on a regular basis. This includes coordinating with internal and external teams to identify and prioritize maintenance needs, managing work orders, and ensuring that all repairs are completed in a timely and cost-effective manner.

Yazdeep joined Banmore Group in 2018 as a sandwich artist. He showed an aptitude with machines and equipment, he was encouraged to pursue this passion, he is currently undergoing training for his HVAC license.

Yazdeep has been known to always be ready to party! He’s a people person and quick on his feet to solve problems related to any equipment.

Harpreet Brar

Director Of Operations

Harpreet is responsible for managing the daily operations of all the Subway locations within the organization. This includes managing inventory, maintaining food quality and safety standards, and ensuring that all locations are following Subway’s operational procedures.

Harpreet is responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to increase revenue and profitability.

Harpreet joined Banmore Group in 2017 as a sandwich artist. Showing great management qualities, she was quickly promoted within the company and was a manager at each Subway restaurant before becoming Director of Operations.

Harpreet always has a positive energy that she brings where-ever she goes. You’ll always find her laughing and enjoying the moment.

Vandana Sharma

Manager at Subway Restaurant

Vandana is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a Subway restaurant located at Terminal 3, ensuring that it runs smoothly and efficiently. She is responsible for managing a team of employees, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving financial targets.

Vandana joined Banmore Group in 2014 as a sandwich artist. She is one of the most loyal employees having not missed a shift yet, come snow or rain Vandana is there! She is one of the most giving people in our company, always taking care of her staff.

Luna Barua

Manager at Osmow's Shawarma

Luna is responsible for assisting with managing a team of employees, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving financial targets. She assists with hiring, training, and scheduling staff. She works closely with the restaurant manager to ensure that all staff members are working effectively and that they are motivated to provide excellent customer service.

Luna joined Banmore Group in 2011. She is a machine when it comes to work, dedicated and loyal. She helps to run everything by the book with her strong work ethic.

Janice Ibara

Manager at Booster Juice

Janice is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a Booster Juice restaurant located in Terminal 3. She is responsible for the overall management of the restaurant, ensuring that the restaurant is clean and well-maintained, that all equipment is functioning properly, and that all employees are trained and working effectively.

Janice joined Banmore Group during the Booster Juice takeover, in 2019. Janice is a strong advocate for her team, always looking after team and their well-being. She is outstanding when it comes to customer service pushing our motto “We live to serve” to another level.

Rimmi Maan

Manager at Booster Juice

Rimmy is responsible for assisting with managing a team of employees, ensuring customer satisfaction, and achieving financial targets. She is responsible for hiring, training, and scheduling staff. She works closely with the other store supervisors to ensure that all staff members are working effectively and that they are motivated to provide excellent customer service.

Rimmy joined Banmore Group in 2019 as a Booster Juice employee. She always brings a calm to the chaos of the stores. She has a warm personality and really knows how to motivate her team to get them to the next level.
